Kiwisport Reflection

IALT : Work hard to improve my dodging
and throwing


This Morning we had Kiwisport outside at the
big field and the coaches was two coaches
and one was called Alan Peters and the other one 
was a woman and I don't know her name.
Our first activity was dodgeball and
it was very fun and challenging and also
enjoyable.Coach Alan counted each people
and counted 1 and 2. 


1 and 2 means the team
team 1 and team two and if
you get hit by the ball you have to go
to the other team because Alan did not
wanted someone to get eliminated
and after 2 minute of playing that game
we did the elimination dodgeball game
and it was more challenging.


Our other
activity was just a bit of a warm up and
the activity was shot put and I think
you'll all know it and it is like discuss 
but a round shaped ball and have to throw it
and start the ball on your shoulder
then throw it and we needed to pair up
and my partner was Willow and he is my class.
What I found challenging was shot put
because it was hard to throw because
it was a bit heavy than I thought it was.
What I enjoy is the elimination dodgeball.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

IALT : Reflect about Manaiakalani Film Festival and how it went
Today we had Manaiakalani film festival
at HOYTS and it some Movie
were funny and some were sad and some
were just normal.The best movie that I
like was the movie about room 9 and
the movie was called Fitness.The schools
were at the movies was Point England and our school.
There were lots of movies and it
was enjoyable.Our school started with a
song and the song presenters was 
Akanesi,Losana and Ana.We really
enjoyed watching
the movies!!!!

Kiwisport!!!

Today we had kiwisport and it was  IALT : Reflect about kiwisport

very fun and it was my first lesson

for RUN JUMP THROW for 

Tamaki Primary.We had lots

of fun and our first activity

was called Capture the flag

and it was fun and it was boys

vs girls and 2 boys went to the

girl's team and the rest of the boys

were versing the girls and the

2 boys that went to the girl's team and

their names were Willow and Gary.

The next activity was called race

the ball and that game is cones everywhere 

and it is too hard

to explain.The games was enjoyable.

The game that I found

challenging was race the ball

because it is too hard to pass

the ball really quickly.The game

that I enjoyed was Capture the flag.

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT:Reflect on what happen at kiwisport-HIP HOP

Today room 9 had kiwisport at the hall.We had choreography which is the practice dance.But what we did first is answer 2 sheets and it was all about Hip Hop.And it says when did Hip Hop started and where.After finishing the sheet,we gave it to Jasmine which is our Hip Hop teacher.

IALT:Reflect on what happen at kiwisport

Today we had kiwisport at the hall.We did the same thing as we did  the week  before the last week,Jasmine wasn't here the

 last 2  weeks and  what we did this week is the practice dance like the the last 2 weeks before,and the practice dance is called choreography.All we had to do is practice our dance and present it on front of the stage.After kiwisport we said thanks to Jasmine and went back to our class to continue our work.

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT: Reflect on what happen on kiwisport 

On Monday we had kiwisport at the hall.What we did at kiwisport was hip hop.Our hip op teacher was Jasmine she was from England.We had an activity after that our activity is called chromatophore, chromatophore  means dance that is already been practiced.And Jasmine told us some new some new moves that we could do next week it was called Steve Martin and other hip hop moves.When we did our activity 
we practiced our dance and made other  moves that was on the board that we can use for our dance.In my group I had Vunivalu,Alethia.While we were practicing our dance we used the move called Smurf,James Brown and and the last move Janet Jackson.After that we were presenting it up on the stage.It was fun.After the activity we went back to our Room which is Rm 9 and we said thanks Jasmine.                                         THAT IS ALL FOR MY BLOG POST

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT:Reflect to what happen at kiwisport

Today room 9 went to kiwisport at the hall.Our hip hop teacher was Jasmine she told us some moves from last week those moves were  Jame Brown,Smurf but today we learned different moves those moves were called the Alf and the Janet Jackson and the Janet Jackson looked liked a dab.After that when we went to the hall we sat down and Jasmine had to pick someone to go up the the whiteboard and write down some of the things that we learned last week.Falakiko stood up and then Jasmine said to him "go up to the board and write some things we learned last week"And then he wrote some stuff that we told him to write it down.After doing that we combine all the moves and dance.After that we did an activity stand in a circle and then go to the middle and do some freestyle which any style you want to do.After that we said thanks to Jasmine.And then went to back to class.

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT: Work together as a team in kiwi sport.

Last week on Monday Rm 9 went to the hall and did kiwi sport what we did for kiwi sport was Hip Hop.Our Hip Hop teacher was called Jasmine she said she was from England and her language was kind of hard to pronounce we learned a bit few stuff we learned how to do the smurf,James Brown and other sort of stuff she played some songs for us to learn how to dance like a street dancer and a hip hop guy.We learned what was Graffiti and how to rap and art and some hip hop stuff after that we thanks Jasmine for teaching us lots of stuff about Hip Hop.Thanks for Reading that's all for my Kiwi sport Reflection.

KIWISPORT YEAR 7.

IALT:Show teamwork while playing basketball at kiwisport

At kiwisport we played 2 games about basketball.The coach had to call out  the amount of people had to play and he had to countdown from 30 to 1 and we had to go out if anyone gets 5 points that team wins.The coach had to split up in 12 because there were 24 students.First game we played was golden child and it was fun.What we did when we played the game called golden child.I was the first person to run around the full court of the Tamaki Primary School.So when I run I stop at the first basketball hoop because my friend called Tevita got the basketball in the basketball hoop.And the students in my team were running some of them stopped and some of them were saved the last person was Gary the tallest guy in my room he ran around the full court and saved all of the students that weren't saved.
