WALT:Workout the questions and tell how did I solve it

Friday 8th of September 2017,room 9 had maths and it was all

about fractions I was working on ten questions,the first one was 1/5 of 40 and the answer was 8 and how I worked it out I thinked of a number that could times with 5 and get 40 and it was 8 and same with the other questions.One of the questions was 3/4 of 20 and I got 15,and how?,I see if there was a number that could times with 4 and get 20 and it was 5 and I times it with 3 which is on the nominator and get 15.

Ancestor Poem

IALT: Talk about my ancestor poem

Yesterday I started my ancestor poem.It was about my culture and my ancestors any myself.My Poem had some Language features,my poem had 4 stanzas and at the bottom of my poem it says by who and it says by George Taeiloa and that's my last name and my first name.And I added some pictures to it which it has the Tongan Sila and 2 coconut trees at the side of the poster.

I added some alliterations and it is on the last stanza which is 

says " love,live,lead,laugh and also being brave like a lion"

and also some of the alliterations

in my Ancestor Poem.

Also I added some idioms and it is on the last stanza too.

I said on my poem " lying down on the grass watching the sky at it is waving and smiling at me".

Nehe Milner Skudder being an all black again

Last night I was watching the news.Since 2015,Nehe Milner Skudder didn't even play rugby for the all blacks.Until today All Blacks vs Argentina , Skudder is playing for all blacks now and he has return to the team,and he is very proud of himself.

Nervous Prince George attends his first day of school

IALT:Describe Prince George when he started school

Today Is a very nice day.I am going to talk and reflect about prince George started school.So today I was reading this news article and it was about prince George.He was not ready to go school and he was to nervous to go school.He is United Kingdom's youngest Prince.His mother Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge,was unable to attend.Prince George did not seem overly concerned though, focusing on instead hiding behind his father.

Tongan Language week

IALT:Reflect what happen at the hall of tamaki primary school when we celebrate the Tongan Language Week.

On Tongan Language week we had some food for the food tasting and it was yum.But first we had some Tau'olunga which means the Tongan Dances.Each Rooms present it on the stage.And some of room 9 students was presenting their poem on the stage and it was Toma,Akanesi,Metui and Falakiko.

After celebrating the Tongan language week,we went back to our classes and wait to call the classes to come up and taste the food.

Technology Reflection

IALT:Reflect on what happen at technology

Thursday 7th of September we had technology with room 10 and we were in groups and I was in group 1 and we moved to Mr Grundy's group and our group was working on stained glass,and we had to come up with ideas of drawing and cut glasses and put it together with the drawing and see it it's the same.We used the glass cutter to cut the glass and it was just practicing.

Tuesday the 5th of August 2017 we hvd kiwi can at the hall and finally Mr Malu was finally there at kiwi can with ms Lily and we did kiwi can together.We had a new topic and it was called Dealing with Challenges our last topic was called Self-control.We only did one activity and it was called "call it out".After the activity we went back to class and continue on with our work.

Cross Country : FITNESS

Today we had cross country with room 7,room 8 and room 10 we ran around the footpath to Alamein road down to Tobruk and up behind our school.After that all rooms finished cross country we enjoyed joining them and they were getting fitter than before.

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT:Reflect on what happen at kiwisport

Today we had kiwisport at the hall.We did the same thing as we did  the week  before the last week,Jasmine wasn't here the

 last 2  weeks and  what we did this week is the practice dance like the the last 2 weeks before,and the practice dance is called choreography.All we had to do is practice our dance and present it on front of the stage.After kiwisport we said thanks to Jasmine and went back to our class to continue our work.

Yesterday we had this programme called D.A.R.E we had it with this Police officer called Constable Taina.She came into our class after lunch time.She came into our class and took the dare box and read the questions.After that she gave us posters about ads.We had to tell if the poster is All false,All true,1/2 and a 1/2 we had to be in groups and work out if it was All true,All false,1/2 and a 1/2.After that we all completed our work for the dare programme

Cross Country - FITNESS

IALT: Reflect on what happen in cross country

Today we did fitness.We had cross country with room 8 and room 10 and I was in room 9.We ran around the gate to Alamein Rd down to tobruk and up to the gate behind our school and then on the bike track after the bike track we went around the gate and back from where we started.Room 8 enjoyed cross country.And they hoped they could come back next week.We enjoyed cross country too.

Kiwisport Reflection

IALT: Reflect on what happen on kiwisport 

On Monday we had kiwisport at the hall.What we did at kiwisport was hip hop.Our hip op teacher was Jasmine she was from England.We had an activity after that our activity is called chromatophore, chromatophore  means dance that is already been practiced.And Jasmine told us some new some new moves that we could do next week it was called Steve Martin and other hip hop moves.When we did our activity 
we practiced our dance and made other  moves that was on the board that we can use for our dance.In my group I had Vunivalu,Alethia.While we were practicing our dance we used the move called Smurf,James Brown and and the last move Janet Jackson.After that we were presenting it up on the stage.It was fun.After the activity we went back to our Room which is Rm 9 and we said thanks Jasmine.                                         THAT IS ALL FOR MY BLOG POST

IALT: Answer questions on the sheet

Today we didn't have any cooking we had a different Teacher.We had an activity sheet to finish and that activity sheet is all about the cooking equipments . We had to spot the safety hazards in the picture and the Bad dangerous hazards.After that we had a different sheet we had to name the cooking equipments .What are they used for.We flipped over the  sheet, we had to fill in the blank spaces.Ex(Pasta is made from................)   and that all for my blog today.

Kiwican Reflection

IALT: Show resilience at kiwi can

Yesterday which was Tuesday 22nd  august 2017
room 9 went to the hall for kiwi can.At kiwi can Ms Lily was there at the hall.When we went to sit down Ms Lily said Good Morning Rm 9,and the whole room 9 said good morning Ms Lily .And Ms Lily told us what have we been learning last week,we said resilience,managed emotions,unmanaged emotions,emotions or feelings.After that we played an activity called tag the master.We had to sit in a circle and play the game.The next game is called Mat dodgeball.We had to sit in a circle again and throw the ball to the person in the middle.We enjoyed our game for the week.

Before Yesterday on Thursday Room 9 and 10 went to technology at Tamaki college.I was in group 1 which group 1 is the cooking group.What we cooked today was called  chocolate cake with whip cream.We used the whip cream on the top of the chocolate cake.We mix all the wet and dry ingredients together and then put it in the springform pan and then bake for 15mins with 180 degrees.After baking it we took a photo of it to put it on our blogger.And we had to share it with Mrs Tuipulotu.After the chocolate cake was baked we took the photo,and waited for the cake to cool down.After it was cooled down we put the whip cream on top.And then we ate the cake.And it was delicious and yummy.We enjoyed the cake.

Technology Reflection

Today Room 9 and 10  went to technology at Tamaki College.I went to cooking,what we cooked today is Nachos.Our ingredients was....           ↧

After that we fried the onion and waited for the baked beans and the cheese with the mince.We mixed the baked beans with the onion and the mince,after all of that we got the doritos plate and then put the mince,onion,baked beans on top of the doritos.After  that we enjoyed..

Cybersmart Reflection

Last Tuesday we had cybersmart with Mrs Shearing,when she came,she told us about the 24hr  footprint:digital map,we made a poster on google drawings and it had to be individual,we had to work by ourselves.The poster was about the 24hr footprint:digital map.Mrs Shearing came with a teacher,the teacher was called Ms Morgan.She came to help Mrs Shearing on our cybersmart.After all our work,We said thank you Mrs shearing and Ms Morgan.

IALT:Show resilience at Kiwi Can!

Yesterday at Kiwi Can Room 9 went to the hall and had Kiwi Can.What we did at Kiwi Can is play some activities and a statue games. Ms Lily was the only Kiwi Can teacher,Mr Malu wasn't there cause Ms Lily told us he was sick.And she told us she was at the hospital but that was last week,anyways lets start.First Ms Lily told about what have we been learning about last week at kiwi can,some of the students raised up their hands and told Ms Lily "resilience" and another word called emotions.And Ms Lily told us a new thing called unmanaged motions.After that we did an activity for fun we had to be in groups of 4 ,when we played we had to do some statue emotions.

Today I was reading this news article was about hot winds driving fires across Greece.It burned up the whole bush because of ot winds driving fires across Greece.The bush crawl over and burn some of the houses and some of the houses was halved burned and some fully burned.People became sad and the government had to think of a way to get a new shelter for them.
